At EMKI-cert Kft. the client can initiate the certification by filling in the Request for Quotation form. The Request for Quotation form contains the information ont he basis of which the Certification Body can decide on its acceptability.

If the data content of the Request for Quotation form is incomplete the Certification Body shall call the client to fill in the missing data. In order to ensure efficient administration, it is advisable to clarify missing or unclear data by direct contact (telephone, e-mail, etc.). In all cases EMKI-cert Kft. prepares a written record of the personal consultation, which is sent to the client by e-mail. If EMKI-cert Kft. does not receive a reply to the missing data within 2 months from the sending of the last reminder, it rejects the client. In all cases the refusal shall include a justification. EMKI-cert Kft. archives the rejected Request for Quotation in a retrievable way.

 If EMKI-cert Kft. does not have sufficient competence to conduct the certification activity, i.e. its accreditation does not cover the requested field of expertise, it rejects the Request for Quotation, which it notifies to the client in writing.

If EMKI-cert Kft. has sufficient competence for the requested certification activity and the content of the Request for Quotation form is complete it will prepare a calculation for the planned duration of the audit and the commitment price. The calculation shall be made within 10 days of the information being available.

The determination of the audit time also takes into account the number of employees covers by the client’s management system, the number of sites, the complexity of the management system and the technologies used in the production, as well as other factors influencing the operations.
